Hello, I just visited Chicago as well and it was just as awesome as you said in the article! Our hotel (The Knickerbocker) was next to the Observatory and we walked the Magnificant Mile for shopping, Millennium Park was beautiful and we even got to enjoy the Taste of Chicago. We took the upper deck tour bus (better idea to get the bus pass around the city the drivers were helpful too). Over the summer many of the museums are free after 4pm, there were free cultural concerts in the park, tours of the Gardens and SO MUCH FOOD! There were people handing out free energy drinks on the sidewalks, Hershey did free chocolate tastings to promote a new product. So much to enjoy in Chicago (my feet were hurting by the end of our 5 day stay. We even crossed under the road to go over to a little make shift beach to put our feet in the Lake (super freezing cold by the way). There are peaceful and super busy parts of the city all in walking distance. :) We are going to go again, soon!
