Shopping Online? Don’t forget the coupon codes!
December 11th, 2007 by Rhonda Filed under Shopping
On cold, rainy days like this, it’s nice to be able sip a hot drink and do my Christmas shopping from the comfort of home. Being able to browse through a seemingly limitless inventory of products for exactly what I want is one of the great benefits of online shopping. Many of the online stores are offering free shipping as well.
Before you check-out with your online shopping cart of selections, be sure to do a quick search for coupon codes. Some of the popular coupon code sites are:
Some of these sites have coupon codes for over 2,000 stores. Once you find a coupon code, there’s usually a place to enter a coupon or promotional code in your store’s check-out page.
Saving $10 here and $20 there using coupon codes can amount to some significant savings. Just think – this could be the fun money for your next girls trip!

My favorite online coupon website is Online Store Coupon (www.onlinestorecoupon.com). I love the coupons and the shopping articles are really helpful for me.

I googled something like “sheplers coupon” and found retailmenot.com. They had a list of coupon codes for sheplers.com and I ended getting $20 off the pair of boots I was about to purchase online. I also used the same website to get coupon codes for Victorias Secret and another clothing store website. It’s worth taking a minute to search these websites for coupons - I saved over $35 between these 3 purchases.

Hi Rhonda,
I stumbled upon your site today (Girls Getaway) and was quite impressed. I really liked the design.
I wanted to let you know about Boostle.com — a price comparison w/ coupons site similar to CouponCabin — except its far better organized and user friendly.
Warm regards,
Jennifer

Hey Rhonda,
Nice job on this entry. So few people know about online coupons - I sure didn’t until recently, lol. Thanks to FabulousSavings.com, I’ve saved a lot of money. They’ve got a lot of great exclusives and coupons are updated every day.
I’m also a fan of one you mentioned, Retail Me Not. I like that people can submit deals and rate how well they worked… there’s nothing worse than thinking you’ve found a coupon only to find it doesn’t work!
Thanks for the great read.

Good sites you mentioned. Also remember to sign up for the newsletter to your favorite stores, alot of times you can get great coupons that way. Some of which are better than you will find on actual coupon sites. They often call them ‘Friends and Family’ coupons and they can be up to 30% off your order. Worth a shot.
