Royal Palms Resort and Spa (Scottsdale, AZ)
Royal Palms is the kind of secluded resort where you’d expect to see movie stars in dark sunglasses lounging by the pool. The hotel and casitas are surrounded by lush gardens, antique fountains and towering palm trees. Located in Scottsdale near Camelback Mountain, Royal Palms’ main building is a 1929 Spanish Colonial mansion decorated with tapestries and antiques. I love the royal palms. I used to go there all the time a few years back. T Cooks is really good but I think the fancy pants restaurants are a bit over rated. I really just like outback steakhouse and more simple food but to each his own I guess. But when it comes to staying at a hotel I love the royal palms. Oh yeah the driveway is really cool too!
